Castor Rosencrantz Kent is a community-oriented writer, director, and multidisciplinary theatre artist based in Athens, Ohio. Castor primarily directs classic and comedic works, from Shakespeare and Molière to Noël Coward and Chekhov. Castor is drawn to any play or musical with strong themes of community, agency, and time. With a focus on a deeply collaborative director-actor relationship, physical storytelling, and consent-based practices, Castor enjoys working with other artists to tell stories from the quietly intimate to the laugh-out-loud.
